The top photo is the 1955 LaSalle Roadster coming back from Marty Martino's restoration shop in Virginia on June 22, 2012.
The middle photo is a shot of the 1955 LaSalle Roadster up on a lift (not detailed yet) at Pioneer Conversions, Lemont, IL showing the mass of chrome components hidden beneath the car. We definitely have to figure a way to show the underside off...people would never expect to find all of this chrome!
The last photo is the amazing advanced V-6 aluminum block, double overhead cam, fuel injected engine with independent rear suspension and a flexible drive shaft. The engine was never made into a complete running engine so that is why the 1955 LaSalle Roadster has been electrified so that it can tool around on its own power when it will make its debut at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance March 2013 along with the 1955 LaSalle Sedan. Phillip Francis, the amazing engineer of this engine has been discussing with Joe what transpired during that era. Can you imagine how things might have turned out if General Motors had proceeded with this engine!
